HOW IS THE RECIPIENT NOTIFIED ABOUT THEIR GIFT?

A stylish Mamaluv greeting card & menu is conveniently mailed to the recipient.
We also offer an instant eCard [view sample] and Self-print PDF option [view sample]

WILL I KNOW WHEN THE GIFT CARD IS RECEIVED?

If Xpresspost delivery was selected, you will receive a delivery notification from Canada Post. We are unable to track eCards or gift cards sent via regular mail service.

WHAT IF I AM SENDING A GIFT FOR MORE/LESS THAN 2 PEOPLE?

No problem. Since our gift packages are based on 2 people, you can simply take the number of entrées included in a package and divide it by the number of people to see how many days of meals it will provide.

WHAT IF I DON‘T KNOW THE RECIPIENT’S ADDRESS?

It’s ok. All we really need is a postal code. If you have an idea where they live, you can simply Google a postal code for their area and use that. Then, simply put “N/A” for the other address fields. When the recipient redeems their gift, they can update their address information.

*Please note, if the recipient changes the postal code (and the delivery fee is higher), we will contact you for the added cost. Equally, if the delivery fee is less, we will simply offer the recipient additional meal items of equal value.

HOW MANY PEOPLE DOES EACH ENTREE SERVE?

1 entree = 1 serving for 1 person.

DOES THE RECIPIENT PICK THEIR MEALS?

Yes. The recipient will receive a Mamaluv greeting card & menu. When ready, they simply select which meals they
would like, and can place their order online or by phone.

WHAT IF I PURCHASE A DELUXE PACKAGE BUT THE RECIPIENT DOESN’T LIKE DESSERT?

We can’t imagine anyone not liking dessert…  =) But if they don’t, we’ll gladly substitute the value of the desserts for soups or other entrees.  And vice-versa for the soups. We are quite flexible and will always ensure recipients only get the items they like.

CAN I PICK THE MEALS FOR SOMEONE RATHER THAN SEND A GIFT?

Of course! You can purchase meals à la carte and have them delivered to the recipient.
You just need to know what they like, and must advise them that meals are coming! Order now

WHAT IF MY GIFT INCLUDES DESSERT BUT I WANT SOUPS INSTEAD? OR VICE VERSA?

No problem. We are quite flexible, and will gladly substitute any item you don’t want.

For all substitutions, please email us your gift code, and which item(s) you would like to change.

CAN I CHANGE/REMOVE AN INGREDIENT FROM A MENU ITEM?

Unfortunately, no. But if you have special dietary concerns or allergies, we can gladly ask the kitchen about other options available.

ARE THE MEALS EASY TO WARM?

WHAT DOES "PAR-COOKED" MEAN?

Par-cooked means we partially cook our entrees. This way, when meals are warmed & the cooking process is completed, meals come out tasting freshly made, as opposed to re-heated.

As per our warming instructions, all meals must be warmed till they are completely cooked through.

DO YOU PROVIDE A LIST OF INGREDIENTS & NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION?

Yes. Simply visit our menu page & mouse over any item to view its ingredients, nutritional facts, allergens & warming instructions. It is also provided on all meal labels.

DO I HAVE TO JOIN OR ORDER MEALS EVERY DAY/WEEK?

Absolutely not. With Mamaluv you can order as much as you like, as often as you like (minimum purchase $50).

Local Meal Delivery

IS THERE A DELIVERY FEE?

If you received a Mamaluv gift, the delivery fee has already been covered.

For meal purchases, the delivery fee is added to the bill during check-out, and is based on the delivery postal code.

MY GIFT INCLUDES 1 DELIVERY. CAN I ADD MORE?

Certainly. We’ll simply calculate the additional delivery fee (based on your postal code), send you a payment link, and then update your file so you can place your first order.

To add an additional delivery, simply email us your gift code, and the number of deliveries you would like to add.

WHAT IF YOUR DELIVERY SCHEDULE IS NOT CONVENIENT FOR ME?

Should you require an alternate date/time, please contact us for options & pricing.

WHAT IF I CAN’T BE HOME FOR A DELIVERY?

I LIVE IN A HOUSE:

If you like, we can request your order be left at your door without a signature. In such cases, Mamaluv is not responsible for theft or spoilage, and no refund or make-good will be offered.

I LIVE IN A CONDO OR APARTMENT:

If you like, we can deliver to your office, a neighbour or another convenient location. Additional fees may apply.

Or, if you prefer, you can pick up your order at our kitchen, and we’ll gladly credit you the delivery fee for additional meal items.

Overnight Delivery

HOW DO MEALS STAY FROZEN WHEN YOU SHIP OVERNIGHT?

Simple. Items are shipped in a reusable, insulated cooler filled with enough frozen gel packs to guarantee meals arrive frozen and in excellent condition.

WHAT IF I CAN’T BE HOME FOR A DELIVERY?

I LIVE IN A HOUSE:

We can request your order be left at your door without a signature. In such cases, Mamaluv is not responsible for theft or spoilage, and no refund or make-good will be offered.

I LIVE IN A CONDO OR APARTMENT:

We can deliver to your office or other convenient location.

Or, if you prefer, you can pick up your order at the courier’s pick-up location.
